ORDINANCE 2021-13

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE FEE/FINE PROVISIONS OF CITY ORDINANCES BY RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, many current ordinances of the City of Hazleton contain fee and fine provisions that occasionally need to be amended;

WHEREAS, each amendment to a City Ordinance requires at least two readings and a minimum of two meetings.

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDAINED and ENACTED by the Council of the City of Hazleton that amendments made by the administration to the fee and fine provisions of City Ordinances may be made by Resolution of City Council.

 APPLICABILITY.  This Ordinance shall apply to all City Ordinances currently containing provisions for fees and/or fines.

RELATIONS TO OTHER LAWS.  If the provisions of this Ordinance conflict with any other laws or ordinances, the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply.

SEVERABILITY.  All provisions of this Ordinance are severable.   

EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon enactment.
